Historical and Ethnographic Approaches to the New Brain Sciences," jointly sponsored by the Harvard Department of the History of Science and the European Neuroscience and Society Network (ENSN http://www.neurosocieties.eu), will provide a forum for exchange between scholars whose work may empirically clarify or illuminate ways that the neurosciences contribute to new understandings of personal and social life.
