"Our Brains, Our Selves? Historical and Ethnographic Approaches to the New Brain Sciences," jointly sponsored by the Harvard Department of the History of Science and the European Neuroscience and Society Network (ENSN http://www.neurosocieties.eu), will provide a forum for exchange between scholars whose work may empirically clarify or illuminate ways that the neurosciences contribute to new understandings of personal and social life.
